To the smaller Bands here: how do you decide, wether another tour is worth it?

My band is currently in the last days of its second tour and we start thinking about the next. However, business is tough rn. We do make a profit on this tour, but barely. How do other bands decide wether there will be a next tour or not? Are there any rules to this?

Which settings should I try on my L&F before maybe sending it back?

So my L&F arrived two days ago and so far it doesn’t really work for me. Right now I am planing to send it back, but I don’t want to regret that later. What settings are your favourites so I could try them and see if I get warm with the pedal?

I have to add that I already own an H90 and find it pretty difficult yet to find a sound on the L&F that my H90 could not do, I guess that is the main problem here.

What is up the the solo in Shania Twains „Still the one“?

I‘m in my second year of learning PSG, so I often go through pop country songs to learn things within my limited range of skill.
So I stumbled over the solo from Shania Twains „still the one“ which is… pretty bad? (IMO of course). Or just weird? The player overuses the volume pedal like me in my first two months and even lands on a pretty… spicy note at the end. It’s just bizarre. Does anyone know the story behind this?

There are multiple versions of the song, some with a synth solo. So here the link, the solo starts at 2:38.

Tricks to speed up/ facilitate load out/ in?

My band is planning the next tour currently, including how to pack everything inside our trailer (with ramp).

We just recently saw a stage carrying their micstands in a rollcase with PVC pipes inside, every stand gets a pipe so they don’t get stuck during load out. We also switched to audio over cat where it makes sense and got a trailer with a ramp this time.

I am looking for similar tricks. Anything that makes load out faster, easier and safer.

Edit: we travel with four musicians, one FoH, a Manager and a stagehand/ Merchseller.

Two electric guitars, one acoustic, all ampless.

Keys and Bass,

Acoustic drums including our own Mics,

Classic InEar Rack on wheels

Some of our own lighting tech.

All in rollable cases.

Hey there, professional guitar player/ vocalist from northern Europe here. I want to expand my work towards doing studio/ livesessions as a Pedalsteel Player and need to grow my catalogue/ gather experience.

So I am looking for projects who would like me to play PSG on their records. I don't feel comfortable taking money for it yet but am looking for feedback and mentions on Streaming Services/ Social media (those would my conditions be basically).
I am used to remote recording sessions, so geography would not be a problem.

If this sounds like something for you or your project, just hit me up with a quick DM.
