Stopped taking Abilify due to akathisia. Day two. Minimum five days to go I read. is that so, and how do I cope?
I have taken medications for over a decade, and this is by far the most distressing side effect I have ever experienced. adding the generic name aripiprazole for visibility. I am expecting a call from the prescribing doctor today and I intend to be honest about stopping cold Turkey. I refuse to take it again even in a taper. The only thing helping me right now is that I was also prescribed mirtazapine for its antagonistic effects.
