Ever since the release of Taladosian set, I get this feeling that Asgardian set became the less sought after energy set because who could compete with that much damage output and good defenses?
Masamune really just made Asgardian set fun to use. Now I'm having a ton of fun skewering this energy dragon.
Genuinely curious how kindred is still able to hit hard against soft-damage capped bosses.
I get that it is soft-damage capped, so there really has to be a way to increase damage despite the cap but most spells and skills damage revolve around the cap mean, even the spellcaster lean, and the bloodmage build ........... except for kindred.
What characteristic of kindred works against soft-capped boss. Which item/armor/spell/weapon also has the same.
Since most new bosses are now damage-capped, I just want to ask for your thoughts if spells like Supernova or Darksplatter are now worth buying during black friday sale.
Additionally, which tier is best to buy:
the efficient, the base, or the supercharged version of the spell?
Bloodmage armors work best for bosses that have freedom but are not damage-capped since shadowfeeder pendant is still around. But damage-capping is another problem.

Returning player here. I heard the stun meta is not relevant anymore for boss battles because of "Freedom". The only method I've heard of being used now is Book of Burns being charged enough to defeat fire-vulnerable bosses. Are there any new methods to play the game? I'm looking forward to update my inventory to best suit how gameplay works nowadays. Thanks a lot.
