Frustrating
Guys any suggestions for me? I'm in a small local and it's just sad. We're few in the local and the majority are out of tune, like literally. So Imagine we have 4-8 singers at best, only a few sounded good there. We even have a literally tone deaf really, his screams are louder than the song.
I'm also embarrassed to lead and guide my friend in our local, because the last time I led the group the first thing he said to me when I left "why is that? Are your choirs following?" It's embarrassing, the Church has a high reputation when it comes to singing, but I don't know why it's only our local in our district that is suffering like this.
You know what's worse? The singers don't take rehearsal seriously, they're lazy and arrogant and don't want to teach. Our president tried to suggest to improve our singers but nothing happened, they don't listen, especially our vice president lmao, they're quick to offend.
Any suggestions guys, what can I do as a member? I've been complaining about our situation for years, there's no improvement among my colleagues.
