Im trying to understand these classes that say you can take the NREMT test after for certification, but from what I read NREMT requires clinical hours. All the classes approved by my state requires them. Does anybody have any experience with these programs?
I'm going to be applying to both after this fall term. I'm curious if anybody got scholarships from either school and if they found out before they had to commit? Debt load will make a big difference in my decision making and wondering what other people's experience has been.

The title kinda says it all. Im smart af. Ill get a 4.0 in prereqs. All I want is a career I can rely on till a retirement at 67-70. I truly want a meaningful job and love the idea of 12 hour shifts even at my age. Am I going to be accepted or thrown under the bus because I am old?
Im an oregon native and pursuing a degree in nursing later in life. The unions in the state have made some impressive agreements. This is attracting a lot of out of state nurses. With the current downturns and with the influx of experienced nurses moving into the state, is there a viable job market? I don't mind the idea of some time at a SNF to build skills but I really hope to be in a 3 12s ED role. Is this unrealistic in current markets. Im in my 50s so building up for decades is unrealistic.
