Waited 1 year but plague is still here: Yellow, deformed leaves, white roots,& contagious (disease?) killed ALL my Pothos.

Up until 2 years ago I could have been posting my big, beautiful, happy friends in the ‘Just Showing Off’ section of this subreddit. But then I started seeing the yellow leaves, strange & stunted growth pattern, and roots turning stark white. Within a year they were wiped out. Even seemingly healthy cuttings that I propagated (and took to work to gift co-workers for our offices) would fail to produce a singe healthy plant. And I came to Reddit for help but I don’t think I ever explained what was happening well enough, because I got a lot of people pointing to watering issues or lighting issues. And for the life of me, I could not find another person with a similar situation to mine. Now, fast-forward to two weeks ago. I dared to bring home another Pothos, but within a couple days, the leaves started to yellow, and as you can see from the pictures, the New growth is already deformed and producing smaller leaves. Help guys. Help!
