Will my email directly say congratulations you’re accepted or will it say something along the lines of there’s an update to your student profile please sign in and check ?

Just wondering as I’m waiting for BScN to see if I’m accepted or not and checking my student portal frequently

Basically I have some important commitments coming up, and if I get an email to check my student portal I want to know if it’s a generic “check updates to your application status” I want to know if that should make me sad bc it means I was rejected, or if I can still hold off hope and check it when my commitments are done

Maybe I’m stupid and just can’t seem to figure it out but I want to potentially take open studies at UofC

Specifically NRSG 201, I want to know if it’s available in the summer, or fall and open studies and what days/time it’s offered and if it’s online or in person.

I can find the course page, but it just gives me basic course info not how/when it’s offered

How can I find this out? Do I have to call the school?

I’m going to Calgary for school this upcoming school year, and my younger sister who’s 12yo wants to come and visit me on weekends often

My parents won’t always be able to drive her every weekend, and I obviously can’t always come and pick her up

Is the bus a safe option?

I’ve never taken before so I’m not sure. I’m feeling it’s probably not safe for her and we shouldn’t let her use it, but I’m not sure if I’m harshly judging since I’m literally judging this based off of no knowledge just the thought of it isn’t great

Any insight would be great!

I’m impatiently checking my application status and it’s been the exact same for months now.
