Moving to a new country is hard. Nobody to drive me to or from my surgery tomorrow so I am having to sleep in the waiting room of the emergency department so I can walk to my ward in the morning.
32F. My partner is away, and his flight back tonight is delayed. I have nobody to drive me the hour there and back and cannot reschedule. That means my options are hundreds of pounds on a taxi (which i simply cannot afford), or i go and sleep at the emergency department so I can get last bus out tonight (four changes, no time in the morning).
I have never felt so lonely and far from home. I am also in pain. Fuck this
