So my mom was a swimwear designer in the 80s and 90s. She made a few swimsuits that had rhinestones on them - and around the rhinestones were what seemed like glitter hot glue (it literally felt slightly flexible like dried hot glue). This was likely to give the look of a metal setting I think. I’m trying to see if it was literally hot glue or if it was a specific product for fabric. I believe rhinestones were likely glued to the fabric using something else, cause I know hot glue would peel off the stone easily. Anyone have any idea what it could be? This one is an old american apparel dress. I can only find size small on Poshmark - I’m looking for medium cause I want the oversized look like on the model. I like the neck and sleeve cut as well as the waist seam height. Open to all color options
