You should pirate your music! (No, this is not a promotion to some shady website or anything akin to it.)

Ever since I quit Spotify to start pirating my own music I feel so much more free. All you truly need is anything that can store data (practically any device or usb) and something like VLC player for mobile. VLC player has its own small issues but besides that I can’t recommend it more because it’s FREE. Yes you do need to learn how to edit metadata which there’s probably online tutorials to do that easily. Hell, if you don’t want to go through the trouble of getting/editing albums, I have my own personal collection that I’m constantly expanding if y’all need them I won’t mind giving them.

If paying for music isn’t owning, then pirating isn’t stealing, because shouldn’t everyone have the right to enjoy music, not the ones who have enough cash to buy it?

(ALSO HUGE REMINDER THAT YOU SHOULD SUPPORT ARTISTS BY BUYING VINYLS, MERCH, AND CONCERT TICKETS.)

DBD: So close, yet so far.

I’ve given this album a lot of time both to resonate and to listen to so I can give a fair opinion on it. It has a good batch of bangers and the rest are mid.

It’s like a B+ at MOST and it kinda sucks that it’s that mediocre.

The first half are bangers or good, the second half is far too mixed. If the second half leaned a lot more into either being jazzy, hypno-rap, then it would be a really damn good album. Add songs like Shroom Clouds. Make Trip Baby detached from Don’t Be Dumb (the song) and recycle The End into a full Trip Baby song. Don’t Be Dumb (the song) REALLY fits that more hypno-rap that A$AP usually does and should be it’s own song, even if it’s slightly shorter if not just 2 minutes. It could honestly work as a closer since in this scenario The End is recycled, and the dictionary definition of DBD could be the final little note that Rocky keeps at the end of DBD to send off the project. Also remove Doechii off ROBBERY and make it Rihanna, then it would make sense why the song is so freaky.
