Pinot & Nebbiolo blind tasting

Did a blind tasting of 6 Pinots / Nebbiolos with some friends, tasted 2 at a time side by side.

The 2010 Roty Marsannay vs 2010 Williams Selyem Westside Road were interesting to compare side by side, as were the 2005 Santa Barbara Nebbiolo (from Jim Clendenen of Au Bon Climat) vs. a 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo from a solid producer (Voerzio)

Overall was a great tasting with some great friends. Tasting notes in the comments.

Where to buy piquin and biquinho peppers in Norcal?

New to growing peppers. Looking to buy piquin and biquinho pepper plants in NorCal / Bay Area. I’ve called a few nearby nurseries and nobody has them - any ideas? Looking for starter plants, not seeds. Thanks!

Ants on a citrus tree?

Was at a nursery looking to buy a citrus tree. Found one that looked good but just as I was about to buy it, I saw a TON of ants (hundreds) crawling up and down. I’m a total beginner so decided not to buy, but any idea why there were so many ants? I didn’t see any obvious signs of disease.
