They have no food and lost their child, but they asked me for one thing money can't buy.
I have been seeing this blind couple for a few days. Today, my mind told me to talk to them. Being an introvert, I initially walked past them for a kilometer. Then, I made a decision that I should socialize, so I turned back. I gave them 50 rupees and was about to leave, but in my attempt to socialize, I asked them about their lives.
I found out that their child had died (which is so sad). I asked whether they had eaten yet, and they said no. So, I bought them meals. When I asked how they manage their lives, they told me that about 10 to 20 years ago, the District Magistrate/Collector helped them and built a house for them.
They told me not to buy them food or give them money regularly. Instead, they insisted that I only help them occasionally. This made me realize how great they are. They also said, "Just speak with us whenever you see us." I don't know how they live with so many problems. They mentioned that they have to beg for a few days when they have no food.
After seeing them, I realized how lucky we are. So, don't feel sad or depressed about the problems in your life. There are people out there who live with disabilities and without food. So guys, if you see such people, just talk to them.
