Lombardy Street urgently needs attention. Most drivers don’t realize it’s a two‑way street, especially those coming from McCarter Highway. They often drive in two lanes, not understanding that one of those lanes is meant for opposite‑direction traffic coming from Broad Street.

I’ve personally seen multiple incidents where drivers make a turn and end up driving directly onto the light rail tracks. This is extremely dangerous and puts pedestrians, transit riders, and other drivers at risk.

There also needs to be strict enforcement of illegal parking in front of the UPS store. Cars parked there block the lane, forcing drivers to shift into the opposite‑direction lane which is exactly how head‑on collisions happen.

Wonder what’s coming at this place as the Dollar Tree on Springfield Ave has been closed now.
