I've been preoccupied with a bikini top and dice bag lately. It's nice to be getting back to my favorite bracelet / necklace weave!

Planning on making a necklace out of silver, so making up some AA chain as a reference for how much silver to order (Ya boy is broke ^^)

Silver: Supplier & Ring Closures?

Hey, all! I'm planning on making a 4 Winds necklace in silver, and I have two questions:

  1. Where would y'all recommend sourcing silver jump rings? I've never really had issues with any suppliers (Except bulk stainless from The Ring Lord), but I want to make sure I'm ordering from a quality supplier before I spend all of that money.
  2. I'm familiar with this weave, but I've only ever done it in aluminum. With the extra weight of working in silver, would the chain pull itself apart with butted rings? Would I need to weld / solder them closed?

Works in Progress

Checked in to a hotel and broke out the rings for the first time in a while. I forgot I had so many different things in the works, nevertheless in the same box! These are going to be a slip chain(?), a dice bag, a bikini top, and a jelly cube, respectively.

What's everyone else working on?
