US CPA Exams vs Canadian CFE
I’m trying to decide whether I should continue with the Canadian CPA route and write the CFE, or switch to the US CPA exams.
I have my CFE coming up in about a month. I don’t feel particularly confident right now, but I think there’s still a small chance I could pass based on how the exam is marked and my current understanding of the material. I’m trying to figure out whether it’s worth pushing through or whether I’d be better off going the US CPA route instead.
Is the US CPA really that much easier than the Canadian CFE, as people say?
Some background:
I have a US green card and am moving to the US permanently after writing the CFE if I choose that route
I don’t plan on working in accounting after planning on running my family’s business instead so not in a rush to get the qualifications
