admin rant
anyone else getting annoyed with northeasten administration lately? i just discovered that my academic advisor left northeastern in july, but was never notified of this nor of who my new advisor would be. the most frustrating part is that this is the second time this had happened. the first time was with my DAS specialist who got fired by the school but I was never notifed of this, never got reassigned to another one and had to independently reach out to figure the mess out. this is two really big admin failures within one year of being here! whats even worse is that its so difficult to get in touch with the admins even for a single question on a email or to even schedule meeting times with the advisors who always seem to be endlessly busy when their jobs its to literally help us, ive had to chase down the advisors to the office or even call them to get some quick advise because it takes so long for them to reply to emails.
