Theory: The Techno-Fiend is more intelligent (for an alien) than it appears to be

Time for me to begin talking and making conclusions about a small detail I noticed :p

So we all know about the beginning of episode 2 where Chestnut is trying to revive Grix all while a techno-fiend is slaughtering the psycho-warriors before attempting to go for Chestnut, but what if I told you that the techno-fiend is more intelligent (for an alien) than appears to be?

Let’s start with the simple act of it noticing Chestnut. At first, it comes off as it slaughtering anything it sees, with Chestnut being the unlucky fellow to attract its attention. Simple alien mindset, but wait, there’s more! You see, when it begins running towards him, it seems to be locked onto him only, with it quickly killing the psycho-warriors nearby as an aside compared to it’s more focused way of killing earlier. And as mentioned before, Chestnut was noticed by it, but it’s body language indicates it wasn’t just an “anything I see must be killed instinct”, it knew that Chestnut is capable of reviving psycho-warriors, and thus this means that it must kill him in order to prevent the psycho-warriors from coming back to the fray to try to kill it again, hence why it appears strictly focused on his location when it was charging at him.

And let me also mention the globules on its body. I feel like the only possible explanation on how it could know that medicaes are a threat because of their capabilities to revive others is that the globules it likely merged into its body came from its previous victims, and with the information stored onto them, it’s possible that it also knows what various legions of psycho-warriors are like from said information, including medicaes depending whether or not one of the globules belongs to a medicae it killed.

But hey, at the end of the day, it’s just a lot of analysis I put into an alien who only has a bit of screentime before being done justice by the holy Hate-Mace, so who knows if I’m wrong or not lol

Feel free to add onto my explanation or provide your own outlook in the comments!

Totally Real Space King Fact #1

Did you know that in every episode, there’s a character named Gryce hidden extremely well in one scene every episode? Matter of fact, this screenshot right here is currently the only known sighting of Gryce, with the search for him in other episodes still going on.

It’s been theorized that Gryce is the original Bryce and the true main antagonist of the series, with him being a pleasant fellow on the Star Defenders’ reclaimer squad before Bryce came into the picture, framed him for 1st degree psycho-murder, and got him kicked out of the squad just to take his place. Ever since that incident, Gryce has spiraled down a path of revenge and went off to create every known alien in the series to get back at Bryce, and to an extent, the rest of the Space Kingdom for his false exclusion.

What do you think of this totally real obscure Space King fact? Let me know in the comments!

Just saw the new Tewwy Toozday post + Mini-theory (SPOILERS FOR SK5)

I know it’s a small detail but I like how while everyone else has cool nametags, Terry just wrote Bryce’s name and called it a day

And with this, I bring you a small mini-theory of mine that’s unrelated to SK5 but still notable:

Considering the fact that Terry was effectively brain-damaged because of Bryce bashing his brains and globules in, it likely didn’t do him in entirely. I mean, even after that whole incident, he still remembers the names of the crew he worked in, including Bryce judging from the image above.

Now here’s the theory part: Terry still remembers everything from SK3 and what Bryce really did to him, and loathes him despite his now retarded state.

Before his skull was caved-in by Bryce, he (reasonably) acted angrily towards him, knowing what he was going to do. Though he supposedly forgot everything after the attack, some of the Tewwy Toozday posts show that he has a disliking towards Bryce, but is fine with the other crew members. This shows that Terry still remembers that Bryce is the same guy who made him who he is now, and while he can’t fully express his hatred for him, he can only make somewhat subtle hints through his drawings that, yes, he isn’t going to let Bryce forget that he made him retarded all for the sake of keeping his good graces with Captain.

Anywho hope you enjoyed this entire theory I crafted from a detail I noticed to idle the time while waiting for SK5 :p

Totally Normal Sprunki Screenshot

Just some regular Sprunki gameplay I took an image of, felt it would be nice to go back to the mod that started it all (for both better and worse) and look at how one thing managed to spark a new community and bring another back to life!

Hot Take: Bryce became more interesting after SK3

While I know Bryce is a controversial character amongst the Space King fandom, I have to admit that despite me being well aware that it’ll likely get me deemed a heretic and have my planet blown to smithereens just to kill me, I like Bryce’s character after the release of SK3.

Don’t get me wrong, pre-SK3 Bryce is good, but in my opinion, he was a bit flat and wasn’t really a captivating character to watch. While Captain is the brash, but focused leader, Chestnut is the most morally sound, yet also cowardly, Hatemonger is the comically serious one who absolutely detests aliens, Bryce is the friendly tech genius… and that’s all about him, really. He wasn’t quite as notable nor had much traits to make him stand out like the rest of the reclaimer squad.

However, SK3 is where he was fleshed out more and helped him become a more interesting character in my eyes with his envy towards anyone who is better than him, and his desire to make himself more useful than them even when it turns him into a millstone for the squad to carry. Sure, he’s an ass for turning Terry retarded and being a prick to him in general, but he became a much more hilarious character in the process, now instead of being a friendly tech genius, he’s now a not-so-friendly tech genius with serious issues behind his affable mask.

Tl;dr, I like Bryce’s post-SK3 characterization more than his pre-SK3 characterization
