Best SailPoint alternatives in 2026, what are people using now?

Hey, looking for sailpoint alternatives for a mid size org and honestly the licensing is getting hard to justify rn.

We need something for iam, access reviews, sso and just the usual compliance stuff, but sailpoint feels like overkill for where we're at.
If anyone has moved off it recently, would love to hear what actually worked. thanks!

How do you handle field sales on personal iPads when security says no unmanaged devices?

I rolled out a Conditional Access policy in Microsoft Entra that blocks unmanaged devices from Microsoft 365.
The policy did what it was supposed to do. The problem came from a workflow I didn't know existed.
Our field sales team uses personal iPads for customer demos. We ended up creating an exclusion group so they could keep working.
That exclusion was supposed to last a few weeks.
Seven months later, it's still there.
I'm less interested in the technical fix and more interested in what you did after the emergency passed.
Did you move everyone to Intune? Keep BYOD with App Protection Policies? Change the demo process? Or did you accept that some users would stay outside the policy?
I'm trying to understand how other Entra admins got rid of these "temporary" Conditional Access exceptions without creating another business problem.
