Bel Air Games, Wednesday Night, ilclan Era, 1vs1vs1, Objective Capture Scenario (300 PV)

My Taurian Concordat forces lost terribly this game. My combat vehicles were decimated within the first round or two as usual. Though my Panther did manage to destroy a Warhammer, so that's something. My Jumping Jack Wolverine was cored out during a rooftop skirmish with an enemy Clint backed by a Starslayer. My Orion and Medium Range Master Longbow also survived when I expected them both to be destroyed.

Bel Air Games, Wednesday Night, Star League Era, SLDF vs Taurian Concordat, Objective Capture Scenario (500 PV)

Second game in an ongoing 1vs1 campaign. Second loss by the Taurians on their home turf. The SLDF just won't quit. 🤣

Bel Air Games, Wednesday Night, Civil War Era, Objective Capture Scenario (500 PV)

A close game, I almost thought I would win. Yet my Free Worlds League Guard didn't achieve a victory this night. Too many objectives captured by my opponent last minute was what cemented my loss.

Battle For The Bay, After Action Game Report #3 - Recipe Recovery Scenario

This scenario involved two objective points, one on either side of the field. Each objective had two Infantry Tokens within a short distance as well. Objectives could be held for points each round, while the Infantry Tokens could be picked up and carried to your side or off the field for extra points.

My Free Worlds League Guard actually pulled a win out of this one last minute. I had just managed to get an Infantry Token scooped up and within my deployment zone during the final round. This was even after having the mech that was originally carrying it get destroyed the turn prior. The bonus points I achieved, including some I got from my DFA attacks, helped out as well.

The whole tournament was amazing. Even if I only won one out of three of my matches. The store staff, event staff, and players were all great. I would definitely do it all again next year.

Shout out to my opponents in order of the games I faced them. Thanks for the great opposition Colon G., Chris T., and Andrew H. I will probably post something on my website at some point to put all three of these posts together in some sort of way. When I do I'll be sure to update.

Battle For The Bay, After Action Game Report #2 - A Trial of Combat Scenario

This was an interesting match. You had to pick targets for your units to engage in honorable duels of combat. This involved two units trading fire without any intervention at the risk of losing points. Targets selected for duels had to be within 1 size up or down of your unit that engaged them to count as honorable. If you had more units than your opponent then your extra units had to stand aside and watch the rest duel.

This led to me having a number of units just doing nothing for most of the game. I had VTOLs that had to just fly around in circles for a few rounds.

My opponent and I had also decided to throw all our chosen Battlefield Support cards aside for the match and not use them.

My Free Worlds League Guard didn't fare so well in this second game. Though I wonder how it would have ended if we hadn't run out of time and continued to the end.

Battle For The Bay, After Action Game Report #1 - Circle of Vending Scenario

Pushed hard against my opponents Clan forces with my Free Worlds League Guard. Unfortunately it wasn't enough and I failed to secure the points needed for a victory. The atmosphere rules for this map messed with my VTOLs a bit, but he had one as well. So I can't blame it all on that.

The game went until we couldn't play anymore due to the store hours. We checked total PV lost and the Taurians were the losers this day.

Sunday Afternoon, Bel Air Games - 500 PV Skirmish

FWL - Free Worlds Guards run into 4 Lances of opposing Inner Sphere forces. We used formation bonuses, special pilot abilities, and battlefield support. I lost terribly, and learned about some powerful formation bonuses I had never heard of. 🤣

Wednesday Night, Bel Air Games - Battle of the Bay Practice, Fight! Scenario

My mercenary force against a whole bunch of LRM Carriers. Their missiles blotted out the sky that day. My forces were decimated very quickly due to poor rolling and prioritizing of targets.
