Hello--last year I moved into my new home and this secretary dresser had been left behind. It is a very beautiful piece, but I'm looking to find it a new home and would love some guidance on what its age might be and any other details. I apologize if it is not in fact antique--I did do some research a while back and was unable to determine its age. Some parts look newer, like the phillips head screws in the top back of the dresser, while other parts seem older, like the nails, as well as the fact that the bottoms of the drawers are shimmed (I'm not sure if this is the right word, I tried to include a picture of it--they've been carved at an angle to slide more smoothly). I may be wrong about all of this, so any corrections or information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much for your time :)
