The year is 1795 and Barnabas has just reminded the Reverend Trask that Vicki is “innocent until she is proved innocent.” Ahh…another classic Frid flub! I never get tired of them 😂
This video clip is golden, so what I’ve written here doesn’t make sense unless you watch the clip. This is one of my all-time favorite interactions between Barnabas and Julia. His lines are so witty (and he actually remembered them (yay!) it makes me think they weren’t scripted.
Mid scene and in response to Julia, Barnabas says, “No, he clings to life with a leech-like persistence.” And a minute later he says, …”before someone brings us the news that he has miraculously recovered and is writing his memoirs.” Perfection 😂
