Advice please
Warning- this is a rant.
So as many others, I started out in 11th as a jee aspirant. From iit to nit to snu/vit/mit to even some good govt colleges I've fucked up or missed out by a small margin on most of these entrances and I'm finally here. This definitely wasn't even in my top 5 options but here I am. And today I've decided something. Maybe it's my lack of hardwork which has brought me here. And yes, before you all say it, srm ktr cs's crowd is hugeee and all that. But I wanna make the most out of whatever I've ended up with and look at it in a positive light. Because atleast here I got the course that I wanted, it's the main campus, I needn't stay in the hostel and can be a day scholar and I get to start a fresh life in terms of my academic life.
So what are the advice you would like to offer to a 1st year cs student?
(A lot of my other friends are in similar situations so I assume a lot of u here might face similar mindset so let's all connect together :) )
