(ASD self contained) So we got a new para last year and they’re very nice and always happy, but they CANNOT read the room and need almost as much prompting as the kids. They also do stupid little things like putting things away in the wrong spot, not cleaning up their messes, etc. They weren’t in ASD last year which I think was the right choice, but this year they are. I’m really trying to be optimistic but I know it’s going to be a shitshow when behaviors arise.

Has anyone else had an experience like this?

I was thinking of getting a waist or crossbody fannypack, but I work in middle school ASD so I’m not sure if that’s very safe

Any information at all would be helpful!
