Any advice for Anki burnout?

I’ve been studying Arabic for a few years now, and Anki has been my biggest tool for vocabulary. However, I’ve found it really hard to stay consistent and it’s become demotivating.

If I miss a day then I have to do 50+ reviews in which 40 of the words I barely know plus an additional 5 new words. I know that doesn’t sound like a massive amount, but doing that almost daily really built up. Anki became the number 1 tool I was using for language learning and I wasn’t really getting any other input, mainly because reviewing Anki everyday took me around an hour (I also work and study for my degree).

It’s gotten to a point where I haven’t touched Anki in over 4 months, I have 500+ overdue cards. I started a new deck because getting through all my overdue cards feels impossible, but still every time I open Anki I just feel bored and demotivated. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice?

How late can you arrive at KAUST?

I know that onboarding starts on the 16th, but if my visa is delayed a couple of days can you arrive later?
