Swamp Thing 89 is finally out. A story DC pulled from the printers after being written and drawn back in 1989 after fear of backlash.

The story shows the title character being blasted back in the past to meet Jesus a few days before his execution. The story is actually shockingly respectful of Jesus and treats him as the Son of God. So I actually don’t completely understand why they were scared to release it considering they had Constantine by this point he uses black magic and makes deals with satan.

From interviews and the Trailer it sounds like the film will be an original character put in like a gauntlet of different things from the games. That way it can be something with a little bit of something from every game.

What? What do you mean you need to rewatch these movies to decide? No wonder Zachary Levi was pissed he got dropped when you are arbitrarily picking shit to be cannon left and right. When you announce a plan and a slate with a writers room, you assume that these things are fucking already planned.
