Anyone just hear an unusually loud jet pass by? My windows don't have the angle to see what it was, but it was definitely large and low.

I'm concerned we're underpaying the woman who cleans our apartment once a week. She's wonderful and we've given her several raises over the years, but it's been awhile since we checked the market and we don't know if we're being fair or not.

Edit: the range here is wild! By my math from $25/hour to $60/hour. We're definitely on the low end.

There've been a couple of posts about You've Got Mail recently, so I want to give kudos to the late director, Nora Ephron. Today would have been her 83rd birthday.
