Made a logging hammer
I put pretty much all of my effort into the letters. The eye and profile of everything else was an afterthought. I was gonna planish and profile everything but I was too afraid of shifting the letters even a miniscule amount so I left it as is. Functions great!

How to get vibrant blue fire?
I work a coal forge and I've seen other guys get fire that's electric blue. Incredibly bright and vibrant. The blue fire I get is typically almost transparent with a slight blue tint. Is the bright blue fire just on a bigger coal pile so the oxygen is reduced more by the time it gets to the top or is there something else that I'm missing?

New DIY forge setup
Ingredients:
A break drum. An old steel wagon wheel. A piece of steel piping, some old sheet metal, the saw blade of an old hay cutter, and the gumption to put it all together.
(It does have legs, they're not visible in this photo but it is not balanced on the blower pipe.)
