Update on the stock

I’ve been seeing so many posts on this thread either complaining or asking why the stock just goes down and why won’t it go up.

People that are posting these threads need to do more due diligence and understand how this stock reacts in the macro environment we are in today.

Mortgage rates are at a 3 year high. When rates are high people arnt building homes, they can afford to sell their home and buy a different one because of the financing so R&R (repair and remodel) is also being pressured.

Interest rates are also mooning because of inflation mainly due to oil prices and tech prices. Commercial construction doesn’t do well in a high oil high interest rate environment. Putting pressure on commercial projects.

So there you have it, QXO is getting hammered because the macro environment for their business is getting hit probably the hardest out of any sector.

Not to mention QXO is in a massive transition period of integrating the companies they have bought. Rumors are it’s harder than expected.

The company had always traded at a premium due to jacobs, the premium had compressed a bit. Relax and hold or sell your shares to me.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Who is long HUM?

I am looking at Humana as a potential short. The stock is trading way outside of its historical trailing AND forward earnings even looking into 2027. In fact if you want to be bullish and see HUM putting up 17 dollars in EPS in 2027 that’s still a 24x forward PE, they historically trade in the 16-18x range.

Not to mention that’s over a year and half out. This isn’t a utility company that has highly predictable earnings. It’s a regulatory risk nightmare. Remember when trump sent one tweet out and this thing plummeted 25% in a day…

I think it’s priced to perfection on execution. Near term full year 2026 won’t be good, management knows and has said that through guidance.

My only concern and what I need thoughts on is where am I wrong? And my biggest scare is tech crashing and everyone rotating into healthcare stocks pushing this thing up further or keeping it inflated past my expiration dates.

I don’t have a position, but would enter with longish dates puts. Lmk your thoughts.
