You buy one wetsuit once and you are good to go. Also maybe due to the fact they bring the most bells of all the critters overall, you don't have to craft or buy a tool constantly and you can't scare them away.

I recently restarted. I went to one island and the next day I could already place the houses for the 3 villagers you're supposed to get through the mile ticket islands. Has anyone else had this?
And I used the next ticket to get on another island but there was no villager.
