Where to start pruning on my tomato plant
I’m new here and could use some help! This is my first time growing tomatoes.
I started with 2 plants, but we had some really heavy rain and it broke plant #2. This one had some complications too, but I helped fix it and luckily it started to fix itself after that.
I started this tomato plant in mid July and this is where I’m at now. I feel like I probably need to prune it, but I honestly have no idea where to start. I already cut off the bottom stems that were touching the soil. I also have some stems near the top of the main stem that are kind of hanging down toward the soil.
I know I also need a tomato cage and I’m working on getting one.
Any advice on what I should be doing with it from here? Should I prune it, and if so, where? Any tips would be really appreciated!
