I’m confused why DJs sister and cousin openly follow and support Bentley? Is there something we don’t know?

I think people are forgetting a pretty huge piece of the DJ situation.

This man was incarcerated for 12 years. Twelve years. Think about how much the world changed during that time. Smartphones, apps, social media, the way people communicate, the way people date, the way people make money online. Life kept moving and evolving while his world was basically frozen.

Then he gets released and everyone expects him to just know how to function normally in a world he hasn’t actually lived in for over a decade. And being released doesn’t mean you’re suddenly free in the way everyone else is. He still has parole, rules, restrictions, expectations, and consequences hanging over his head while he’s trying to figure out normal everyday life again.

I don’t think Rae and her fan girls gave him nearly enough grace for that transition.

That doesn’t mean DJ gets a free pass for anything he does wrong. Being incarcerated doesn’t excuse bad behavior. But there’s a massive difference between holding someone accountable and expecting someone who spent 12 years locked away to immediately adjust to an entirely different world without patience, stability, or a solid support system.

And trying to make that transition while your closest relationship is toxic and constantly surrounded by social media drama? Yeah. That’s not exactly setting somebody up to succeed.

You can hold DJ accountable for his choices while still acknowledging that what he was trying to adjust to was fucking hard. Both things can be true.

So let me make sure I understand the Bentley & Rae situation correctly. 😂
Bentley flat-out told Rae TO HER FACE that he doesn’t trust her enough to talk to her privately because he’s worried anything he says could eventually be used against him. He also openly admitted that part of his concern about ending their friendship was losing followers and money because, in his own words, when they battle and do things together, they make money.

They were supposedly done. Rae begged him to talk to her again. Now she’s right back in his lives every day throwing big gifts at him.

At this point, what even is this relationship? 😂

She gets the male attention and flirty validation she clearly enjoys, and he gets the engagement, gifts, followers and money that come with being connected to her.

That’s not friendship. That’s a business arrangement with flirting and emotional damage. 💀

And honestly, watching two people use each other while simultaneously pretending they’re defending some deep, meaningful friendship might be the funniest subplot yet.

At this point, I genuinely think she knows she fucked up.
You can call it “healing” all you want, but if you go on a date with another man and spend the entire time thinking, “DJ wouldn’t say that,” “DJ would do this,” “DJ says this instead,” girl… you are not moving on. You are sitting across from another man realizing you still love your ex and comparing everybody to him.
And I think that’s where the grass-is-greener moment is hitting.
The problem is she made the breakup SO public. She aired out his personal business, created this entire narrative where she’s the victim and he’s this horrible man, and now she has an army of fangirls reinforcing that narrative every day. She can’t exactly turn around now and say, “Actually, I miss him and maybe I fucked up,” without looking ridiculous.
And she may have created real-life consequences that mean going back isn’t even that simple anymore, especially considering his parole situation.
I don’t buy the “she’s just healing” explanation. I think she still loves that man. I think she’s realizing other men aren’t him. And I think somewhere underneath all the internet noise, she knows she blew up something she actually wanted.
Sometimes the grass isn’t greener. Sometimes you just set your own lawn on fire and realize it after the smoke clears. 🤷‍♀️

He went right back to being in boxes with Rae. 🙄

It’s actually funny how she pulled the exact same narrative with Bentley that she did with DJ.

“I was protecting you.”
“I’ve protected you.”
“I took the fall for you.”

Apparently she’s out here protecting everybody while somehow never being responsible for a damn thing herself.
Protecting Bentley from WHAT? Bentley has nothing that needs to be covered up or “protected.” He genuinely seems like a good person, which is exactly why that line doesn’t even make sense.

And I’d bet money she’s already been blowing up his phone this morning, laying on the guilt and reminding him of everything she’s supposedly “done for him.” Because that’s the pattern. Do something for someone, call it protection, then use it as leverage when they stop doing what you want.
That’s not protecting somebody. That’s manipulation!!

Sooo, Bentley is not allowed to battle DJ because Rae doesn’t like him, but Rae can battle Danny even though Bentley doesn’t like him. Weird behavior.

This girl drove 10 hours, no sleep and he still hasn’t made time to come see her in his own town. He was “working,” now he has his kids and won’t come see her until 10 tonight. This girl is crazy as hell.

Her boy on speaker phone said “I’m not gonna roll up there the first time meeting you…” and she started over talking him…. She hasn’t met that man in person yet like she said. Add another mark to her lie count. 🤣

So wait Nicole was at her her house the other night and they were friends and now they’re already not friends and Nicole is live with DJ. Can this girl keep any person in her life?

How the fuck are people still taking everything this girl says at face value? We watched her degrade DJ on live constantly. She’s been accused of scamming people since the chocolate bar days. She posted a video herself describing assaulting her ex-husband so badly she thought she’d offed him. She’s admitted to hitting herself. She flat-out said if DJ wasn’t going to be with her, he was going back to prison. She’s had massive fall outs with more people on TT than I can even remember at this point…But now we’re supposed to ignore all of that and automatically believe every new story because, once again, she says she’s the victim? Girl. Patterns matter. Context matters. Critical thinking is free.

Just my opinion from what I’ve observed, but Rae seems to like to be in control. She controls everyone around her. While DJ was incarcerated, she controlled the money, commissary, communication, content, and the money they made together. Then he got out, wanted independence, and she realized she couldn’t control him the same way anymore. And that’s when, from my perspective, the extreme behavior escalated: threatening to kill herself, threatening to hurt herself, screaming, crying, and creating chaos whenever she felt like she was losing him or losing control. I can’t speak to what she was actually feeling mentally, but from the outside, the timing and pattern looks whole lot more like emotional manipulation meant to pull DJ back under her control rather than a mental health crisis.
