My secret to making press-on nails last for three full weeks.

Okay I swear I finally cracked the code for press-on nails lasting FOREVER Mine used to pop off in like 3 days and now I can get almost three full weeks out of them. The biggest thing was realizing I was rushing the prep. I lightly buff my nails, wipe them with alcohol till they feel dry as the Sahara, and I stopped putting lotion on my hands before doing them. Also I started using nail glue like I’m sealing a crime scene lol. Tiny bit on both the nail and the press-on, then I hold it down for way longer than I used to.

I also avoid getting my hands wet for a while after applying them, which was hard because I’m impatient af. But seriously the difference is wild. I’ve washed dishes, opened soda cans, lived my normal chaotic life and they STILL stay on. At this point my press-ons are more committed to me than some relationships

I haven't used heat on my hair in 6 months. Here is my new texture.

Okay so I haven’t touched a straightener or curling iron in like 6 months and my hair legit feels like a different person now I used to think my hair was just “frizzy and weird” but apparently it’s actually wavy?? Like real soft waves and little curls started showing up once I stopped frying it every other day. The first couple months were rough ngl because my hair looked confused lol but now it’s so much fuller and healthier looking. I still miss the super sleek look sometimes but seeing my natural texture come back has been kinda worth it. Didn’t realize how damaged my hair actually was until now.
