Comet Rangers?
I was wondering if anyone had any information about the Comet Rangers project, which Alan Moore was supposed to do with Jim Lee sometime around the early to mid-2000's. I've heard differing things about the project -- everything from it being an illustrated novel to a 48-page graphic novel--but the only real info I've uncovered about it is this quote from Jim Lee, from a San Diego event in 2018:
"I think there was a project, I was talking about Alan Moore, I was specifically referring to a project that he and I were going to do together called Comet Rangers. He did write like 3 pages, I have 15 pages of stuff he wrote. 15 pages of comic book, which was 45 pages of script. I love getting detail and direction. and that's not what lead to that not happening. (It was) my own inability to get projects done during that era, but that would have been great to have done that."
If there was indeed some finished script pages, it's really weird that there's so little info out there about it--no details concerning what the story would have been.
Anybody know anything about Comet Rangers?
Nightwing w/ glider render
Don't think anyone's posted this here yet, but here's the render for the Nightwing glider pack from SDCC.
Interesting to note that the Nightwing figure looks like his Future State costume...

Already at Ross???
This is so weird... I don't think I've seen these anywhere else yet, but here they are, discounted at Ross.
EDIT: I found these at the Gainesville, GA location. They had four in total.

Amazon Has A DC Premier Exclusive
Doesn't look like anything too exciting, as it's just a boxed set of individual releases, but it does look like it has a unique Batman variant.
Loose torso on Sundown?
For anyone who has their Sundown, are you having any trouble with the ab crunch? Mine is so loose that it flops around like one of those air dummies at a used car lot...

Scales well with Legends...
The new DC Core Premier line from Mattel scales very well with Marvel Legends, for those wondering.
I have to say, they are pretty incredible figures, for what you pay. If the Collector line next year is as good as this, we're in for a treat.
Thank You, ML Reddit...
Didn't think this would be a figure that I would want based on the costume, but after seeing all the pictures everyone posted posing this guy, I caved.
My first Daredevil since the Toy Biz days! We've come a long way...
18$ Clearance @ Wal-Mart
Been trying to cut back lately, but when I saw this on clearance for that price, I couldn’t resist.
Love the Oroku Saki, but I'm kind of disappointed with the Shredder. Having his spikes on the bottom of his forearms just makes most posing look awkward. Too bad they couldn't have worked in a forearm swivel.
Best Winter Soldier?
Talking specifically comic book representations of the character, and I think my favorite is still this one, from the Toys R Us two-pack with Black Widow. The articulation is dated, with the hips especially being a crime against humanity (the poses in the pics above are about the best you can get out of this one). But in terms of shelf presence, I think this is still the best-looking option available.
