“I recently had my US student visa (F1) approved and will be heading there in mid to late August.

I work in India, and plan to have my last working day in the first week of July.

Currently planning a Europe vacation (starting from France) with friends some time between my last working day and when I head to the USA.

Question - Will I be under extra scrutiny while applying for a Schengen because I’d be unemployed at the time of my trip? Even though I’m employed at the moment, the visa officer could easily see my F1 visa stamped on the passport and guess that I could potentially be unemployed during the trip.”
