I have experience of 1.4 years with gap of 15 months post that as I appeared for banking exams, I am going to join an organisation next month, resuming work. Someone told I should apply for ISB YL programme as I am already late for ISB PGP with my age being 26 and less experience at this age so I would be rejected due to this and gap year with too much competition. I have a Master’s in Economics though, can someone please clarify this?

I am a 26 F with master's in Economics, I had taken a break of ~15 months since family asked me to appear for government/banking exams (also had an eye surgery), it didnt turn out like I wanted, now after almost a year, I am shortlisted for policy role and waiting for my offer letter from CII, I already have experience of 1.4 years in research and communications, I am getting so panicky and anxious due to my CTC which is ~7 lpa; when I see my counterparts from school with 3-4 times my current CTC and IIM tags, it only makes me squirm. It's toxic but just doesn't leave my mind.
I was a bright student but I am no longer clear about my path, if I go for MBA prep which I am assuming 3 years with everything, I'll be 29-30 but the marriage pressure rises at this age as well so that option seems hazy, I am confused about giving GMAT and then go for 1-year MBA yet my doubts are sprouting what if it doesn't work out and I am not able to crack, I don't know, I seriously would appreciate any advice or suggestion to upscale my career.
