Sudden bot-like traffic spike on Blogger followed by AdSense ad serving limit — anyone else?

I have a Blogger site with a custom domain and have suddenly started seeing a huge amount of unusual international traffic.

On August 17, GA4 showed 1,338 active users from Singapore, almost all new users, with 0 seconds average engagement time. The traffic was spread across hundreds of landing pages, including very old posts.

Today, August 18, it has increased to 3,726 active users from Singapore, again with 0 seconds average engagement time. Blogger Stats is also showing unusually high traffic from Vietnam, Brazil, Ukraine, Pakistan, Russia, Bangladesh and other countries.

This is completely outside my normal traffic pattern.

Today I also received an AdSense notice saying:

Ad serving is currently limited while Google assesses the quality of my site traffic.

I don't click my own ads, buy traffic, use paid-to-click services, or encourage ad clicks, and I haven't intentionally done anything to generate this traffic.

Has anyone else with a Blogger site experienced a sudden bot/crawler traffic surge like this followed by an AdSense traffic-quality limitation? If so, did the traffic eventually stop, and how long did it take for AdSense to remove the limit?

Before and After

My kitchen before wasn’t bad by any means—it just never felt like me. I originally thought I’d love an all-white kitchen because it had such a clean, classic look, but once I lived with it, it always felt a little too sterile and lacked the warmth I was hoping for.

My goal was to create a space with a warm coastal feel—light, airy, inviting, but still warm and full of character.

I chose Wellborn Hickory Boardwalk cabinets, and they completely transformed the room. They bring so much natural warmth without feeling dark. Around the stove, I used Royal Blanc quartz for both the countertops and the full-height backsplash, which keeps everything bright while adding beautiful movement and texture.

The true showstopper, though, is my island. I went with Aurora Gold quartz, and I absolutely love it. The veining is stunning, and it gives the kitchen just the right amount of elegance and personality.

A couple of my favorite features are the custom hood—it became the focal point I didn’t know I needed—and the microwave drawer. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but now I can’t imagine having a countertop or over-the-range microwave again. It keeps the kitchen looking clean and uncluttered while being incredibly convenient.

I know wood cabinets aren’t for everyone, but to me this warm hickory finish is timeless. Trends come and go, but natural wood brings a warmth and character that never goes out of style.

The space finally feels warm, welcoming, and like home. It’s amazing how much of a difference choosing materials that fit your style can make.
