A week in to it from carnivore…good stuff!

Carnivore is great I think, had a lot of success. I’m very fit, exercise quite a bit, hold a decent amount of muscle, can do pull ups, pistol squats, have ran 3 marathons, have zero metabolic illnesses, take no meds, having a great sweaty time on my stair master right now. I’m 5’8 female, 35yo 148lbs. Been doing carnivore very consistently the last 2-3 years. Def got the most quiet digestion and great muscle building. Came to vertical diet/Peat like way of eating simply because of what I read about cortisol, the adrenaline spike at night due to the gluconeogenisis, and waking up at 2am consistently for over an hour nearly every night. Also steadily decreasing overnight HRV, and longer and longer menstrual cycles.

Now I’m still eating my red meat and eggs, butter, salt, coco oil, Greek yogurt, but just a tad LESS meat, and have added in banana with lunch, jasmine white rice with dinner, and honey on my Greek yogurt dessert.

My last period cycle was 37 days. The DAY I added these carb sources, my period raged out of me the next morning 🤣like finally. Over the last week or so, my 2am awakenings have ended. My HRV has risen over 10 points in the overnight average, my body has dropped some puffiness and muscles feel and look better, skin seems tighter and abs even coming through more. And poops are easier.

Just sharing the changes! Not full on peating, but adding in some of his principles have given me pretty much immediate positive biofeedback in this short time!

Do any of yall fly out to cali, work, then come back home to whatever state you are residing in? What is the situation? Are you part time there? Full time? How often do you fly back and forth? Why do you do this? Curious! Thank you.
