NSV: Funbox with my kid
A couple years ago we took our kid to Funbox for a classmate’s birthday party. It’s a gigantic indoor bounce house where everything is inflated and there are slides and obstacle courses.
I’m too old to have experienced the age of bounce houses, so the last time I went I was mostly concerned with falling and struggling to get up and possibly rolling my ankle or tearing something.
This time I was over 100 pounds lighter and run five times a week, and it was a blast to run and jump and slide with my kid, keeping up and not worrying about a thing. A whole new life with a whole new body!
