I have spent the last six month searching the internet for a good note taking app. I get suggested one app, I try to use it for one week, get frustrated for some reason. Functionality, design, pay wall, you name it, ditch it and move to the next one.

Until a couple of weeks back when someone suggested Helixnotes. I wasn't so thrilled but decided to give it a shot. I liked a bit in the beginning, so I moved my Obsidian folder to it but then the writing delay frustrated me, I stopped using it, until I saw a post here addressing that issue and the developer's reply that they are working on it.

I gave it another shot, and it was the best thing I ever did, ever since, I moved my obsidian vault, copied all my old onenote notes to it and I've been working so much since then, I can't be more relaxed, organised and productive about my work now.

So thank you Helix developers. You've been a life saver. I hope you continue working on the app and I would love to support in any way. Even if it's just donation or buying a coffee.

I'm having real hard time deleting collapsible section or call outs. Especially if they are inserted in the first line of a note.

Is it just me or do others find it difficult?

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of the infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.

some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

This is what I think of everytime I see someone talking about PKMS

For all of you who doubt the PKMS, this is your sign to drop everything and enjoy life instead.

How do we (people with PD) get rid of the scars from old breakouts??

I can't find a good price for flights, I'm traveling in high season and I wonder if there's some hack I can do.

I will book immediately from the airline.

I still have a month left until I travel and I thought I could wait maybe the prices would go down but I'm afraid they will go up instead if I don't book now 😬

I have travel twice before and one of them was during corona so everything was cheap AF.

Any advice could be helpful.

I'm an automation engineer and landed a project management role because they need someone who understands the technology and learn the management part afterwards.

I really like the management part of the job, I have a plan to get the CAPM soon and PMP in the future. But I'm looking for on-demand courses that really teaches project management in detail and not just for the certification exams.

I will be so grateful if you can recommend professional courses?

I want to transcribe my recorded meetings securely. I tried whisper by OpenAI. It worked for a while but then it started glitching. Is there any other similar and more reliable service?
