How to deal with a jealous mom ?
Hey everyone, I really need some advice.
My family is well-off, but my mom is insanely jealous of me and refuses to let me buy nice clothes—even though everything I want is completely modest. It’s not just going-out outfits; even at home, if I buy something as simple and cute as Lefties pajamas, she gets unbelievably jealous and toxic about it.
I’m currently studying in another city, and my dad gives me a decent monthly allowance. I've started saving up to buy the clothes I actually like, but I’m terrified of going home. I know 100% that if she sees new things, she’ll attack me and tell my dad that some guy must be buying them for me just to turn him against me.
I’m so exhausted. I just want to wear cute pyjamas and dress nicely without dealing with her drama.

How do you manage your wardrobe when visiting home? (Do you hide clothes or keep a "decoy" style?)
How do you handle false accusations without letting her ruin your relationship with your dad?
How do you emotionally disconnect from a mom who acts like your competitor?
