Any playl*ist that accepts edm easily?? Started in may at 33 listeners.

Growing artists here don’t have an arm and a leg to afford fancy promotion. Any tip is truly appreciated. Thank you

Tiktok verification

Might be a stupid question. However, i’d like to know. I got 15+ articles including 4 major ones wrote about my music journey, now tiktok and spotify verified me.
How do i benefit from this? Does tiktok verification help with views. My usual views don’t surpass 1000 for each video.

Confused

So I have close to 200k monthly listeners with a 1.7 ratio, but almost no followers, actually only 30. I released my first EP in May after spending six years studying music theory and music production, i still have my producer helps me tho. I also don’t have a strong social media presence yet.
Does anyone have advice on how I can turn listeners into followers and build a real fanbase?
Someone asked last time about how did i get this much ( i used a big company to promo me, NO i’m not here to promote nor discuss that) thank you 🙏

AI DISCUSSION

I want to discuss this respectfully because I genuinely want to understand the perspective here.
Yesterday I posted my stats after 3 weeks of promotion and mentioned that I invested $18K with a PR team. A lot of people immediately accused me of being “Suno” or “100% AI slop.” First, I don’t produce my own music. I sing and write my songs, and I pay a professional producer because I’m still learning production and I’m not at that level yet.Second, major artists are openly experimenting with AI. For example, Alan Walker has spoken about using it as part of experimentation. Whether people agree with it or not, it’s already part of the industry.
Third, I don’t personally hate AI. I see it as a tool. It can help with writer’s block, generate ideas, and make certain parts of production more efficient. That doesn’t mean it replaces real artists, creativity, or human emotion.
What I don’t understand is why so many independent artists especially smaller ones seem so threatened by it. Are we really losing because of AI, or are we losing because most independent artists struggle with visibility, promotion, and marketing?
I actually tried Suno for the first time yesterday just to see what all the discussion was about. Honestly, I wasn’t impressed. The sound felt overly synthetic, heavy on the same type of synth textures, and lacked depth.
So respectfully, the question still stands,
Are artists really being held back by AI, or are many of us simply underestimating how much success depends on marketing, strategy, and audience reach rather than blaming technology?
If you make it here THANK YOU for reading. Looking forward for your input.

Confused

Research isn’t helping much, from your own experience what is the mix and what is the smart shuffle for? Also here it shows 30 playlists. Somewhere else shows 271 playlist, I’m confused how??. Thank you.

Is this real or just a polite way of saying “thanks next”??
Also need real/legit ways for promotions. Is there a label that doesn’t necessarily sign up. However, just help with promotion.
