Why could Chihiro tell the pigs don’t include her parents?
This is my personal interpretation of the story. It is the powerful love and inseparable bond between Chihiro and her parents that lets her sense they are not among the pigs. This is similar to how she sees through Haku’s dragon form and recognizes who he truly is beneath it.
