How should I level up mana spells in Grandia 1?

So I started playing Grandia last Saturday because I wanted to play another 2d 32-bit RPG(the first one was Lunar SSSC) and I was thinking about this one for a while. I chose to play the Saturn version too. After several hours of playing I found out about these Mana egg things and gave Sue 2 of them, Justin 2, and luckily Fina already came with a fire spell so I just gave her one egg. But these spell things are confusing me.

I spent a while last night playing through Dom Ruins and managed to level up their spells quite a bit, but it took a while and I like using the regular combo/critical attacks too. Is this like the esper system in FFVI? And I know there is another egg in Dom ruins but I do not know what to do when I find that one. And I also know that Sue leaves later in the game so I do not know how to go about with her magic. Here is what I have now:
Justin : Fire and Wind magic
Sue: Wind and Water magic
Fina: Fire and Earth magic

I do not whether I should just keep grinding or just leave those element things behind, because my characters are already plowing through most things anyway at the time. But I do not know, maybe the game gets harder later.

Does Anyone Wish The Little Amelie or Arco Won Best Animated Feature Instead of KPDH?

Hello,

So I know that the Academy Award ceremony is a month from now, but I would like to get something off my chest about the ceremony. And I also want to have a civil discussion about this as well.

Several months ago, I decided to watch the K-pop Demon Hunters movie with a younger sibling, and while the kid liked it, I finished the movie feeling overstimulated by the whole thing while finding the story to feel empty to me and overly familiar to other Hollywood movies. However, I do acknowledge that the animation is technically marvelous, and the songs are also incredibly catchy. I found my family being "infected" by the songs just like the Soja Boys did to the crowd with their song about Soda or whatever.

Then, for fun, the night before the ceremony, I decided to watch Little Amelie or the Character of Rain at midnight to see how it would measure up compared to KPOP Demon Hunters. In my personal opinion, I feel like it is no contest. Little Amelie and the Character of Rain had me smiling for the entire 90-minute runtime, and I found the girl's relationship with her family and nanny heartwarming, and the character herself was also relatable to me when I was a kid. In a way, I thought I was a superhero myself, or at least I liked to think of myself that way. And the visuals and the animation were gorgeous too in that one. One scene I really liked was the one where Amelie was unconscious, and she meets the spirit of her dead grandma, who tells her to continue living her current life. Or the scene where Nishio San and Amelie go to a festival at night to place lanterns in the water, for what I remember to be honoring the soldiers who died in the war. Yeah this movie was a beautiful film, and even though I knew it was not getting any awards, I still rooted for it so that the academy could continue their streak of giving the award to smaller films(ex. Pinocchio, The Boy and the Heron[yes I know Ghibli is big too, but Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks were larger names], and the Latvian film Flow that was made in blender). And the funny thing is that some people feel rather uncomfortable looking at the characters in Little Amelie, but then I am over there, actually feeling uncomfortable whenever I see the Huntrix girls. Something about their design puts me off for some reason. Little Amelie or the Character of Rain felt more human to me.

Then the awards come up, and I knew it was going to happen, but I still felt disappointed that they still picked KPOP Demon Hunters even after they had to actually watch all the films(per the rules). And then Golden won best original song as expected, too, even before the nominees were announced. But I was still offended when they cut off the guy's acceptance speech for Golden, when the ceremony itself was already meandering. I would cut out the Bridesmaids skit thing entirely just so I could let the guy who participated in writing Golden speak.

In all fairness, like the rest of you, I do not believe in most things that the academy chooses to honor. Like I know that they chose Big Hero 6 over Song of the Sea or Princess Kaguya, because it is something their kids watched, and they did not have to watch the other ones. Nowadays, they have to watch all the nominees, but I feel like the choices still stand. They only watched Little Amelie and Arco one time in order to say they saw it. Most of those voters saw KPOP Demon Hunters tons of times with their children and enjoyed it with them, while the other animations were afterthoughts, pretty much.

I am wondering if I am alone on this sentiment or if there are other people on here who prefer Arco, Little Amelie, or even some other animated film over KPOP Demon Hunters. While I love watching independent animation, I also preferred Zootopia 2 over KPOP Demon Hunters, too, since I felt like that one was a lot more entertaining to me, and I still think of things from it. Like that snake wanting to reunite with his family or Pawbert and how I wish he could redeem himself in time for the third movie or for a Disney+ TV series or something. Both Zootopias feel more inviting to me than a film about a magic singing group saving a world filled with rabid fans from monsters.
