I'm a day away from buying an brand new Maverick, but debating on whether getting the tow package (AWD) or FWD. HYBRID ONLY.
My commute involves 85 miles round trip daily (5x/wk) and climbing up to 3000ft in elevation.
It can rain and snow in the winter (Sierra Nevadas). An occasional dirt road. 95% of the time, it's on pavement.
Seems pretty obvious that FWD is the way to go, but is AWD something to consider since it gets a different gear ratio, transmission oil cooler and bigger fan? Would those upgrades make a difference given the daily elevation gains?
