My first time trying to make jerky

Hey folks,

I'm very interested in making some jerky for the first time. A lot of my hunting buddies make jerky and smoked fish/arctic char, but all with varying degrees of success. I have some really good caribou meat that I'd really like to make jerky with. The meat is pretty similar to deer or elk. What do you suggest I follow in terms of a recipe, equipment needed, and other related things? I'll be buying and ordering a bunch of items related to making jerky, smoking meats, etc. I've hunted my whole life and mainly cook my meats in easy recipes, and now I feel like I'm confident enough to try new things!

Do you have a recipe or two that you can suggest? And do you have a list of equipment that works best for you? I do have a meat grinder, the caribou meat, different kinds of spices, and I'm very open to acquiring other items or equipment to help with the process. Thanks a million for the tips and tricks! I'll be happy to post updates of the process. Feel free to reach out or comment on the post :)

Need advice from folks with lived experience

Morning folks,

I'm a 31 year old male, 5'8" at 160lbs, and besides regular cardio, I haven't done any kind of real fitness, exercise, or workout related activities in more than 5 years. I want to build some muscle while I'm still relatively young. To me, fitness and bodybuilding has always been very intense and motivating, all the consistency and commitment to the craft is also very inspiring, consistency has been a bit of a difficulty for me in the past. I would like to get some advice or speak with someone who has similar lived experiences regarding how to even start the process of bodybuilding. I'm sure I can find all kinds of articles and subreddit posts about starting the journey, but advice from people with lived experiences feels more relatable because there's more of an opportunity to discuss things more in-depth rather than just reading an article.

I've always had good cardio because I spend a huge amount of my time out hiking, I walk to and from work every day, I go for runs pretty regularly. I've been thinking about bodybuilding for quite a while and finally decided after lots of consideration that that's what I want to do and commit to. I've always been pretty slim and fit but with no real muscle mass and I'd like to build some muscle. Any advice around diets, beginner training regimes and routines, and good recovery practices would be greatly appreciated.

If you're willing to help a beginner out, feel free to reach out at any time!! I'm very serious and fully committed to bodybuilding and I need to start some where. We all started somewhere!

I'm new to this whole thing. Here's some OC

I live in Nunavut in the Canadian Arctic. Here are some shots that I took yesterday. I'm new to photography and I figured birds would be a great way to start my new hobby.
