I wasn’t expecting his sandals to articulate like this. I’m just so constantly surprised and impressed with their choices and designs. Even having the peg hole through to the foot. There’s a lot of thoughtfulness that goes into these figures.

I’m not even really a gamer. I’m pretty sure I’ve watched the Ming Na Wen movie more than I ever played any of the games, but this line has produced some of my very favourite figures to play around with.

A QC issue that led to something wonderful

They left a nice big open seam on the cape, so I was going to thread a wire up each side. I was thinking of heating it to remove the neckpiece. Turns out it wasn’t even glued on. I don’t think I’ve ever been happy to have a QC issue on a figure. I was able to thread a single wire through the seam and under the neck. A solid dab or two of super glue and this guy is damn near perfect now.

Someone defaced some of comics!

She was at our LCS doing a signing yesterday. She was a signing machine and was so kind to absolutely everyone. Plus it’s a great read.

I can’t believe how well these big bois balance

Not the best poses, but Jada kills it at these bigger figures. It really makes you wonder how a diecast car company is putting out way better figures than Hasbro. I wish they had an IP that competed against one of Hasbro’s. Just to force them to up their game. Price, articulation, accessories, availability… all puts Hasbro to shame. Even releasing previous waves regularly.

I recently got the Welcome to the Hellfire Club box set. The maps are really nice and I’d like to preserve them. Does anyone have any good tips for getting the creases out? I have the opportunity to get the maps laminated and it would be nice to get them as flat and smooth as possible.

Unfortunately, one of the maps already had some damage right out of the box from being so tightly folded. I’ve seen a slightly damp kitchen towel and a very low iron suggested as long as the ink isn’t heat reactive. Maybe someone has had some success with this method? or just lay them out and put heavy things on them?
