What a year it has been… so many firsts! First time shirts fit properly, first time jogging freely, first time topless gardening, swimming, lounging, running my hands down my chest and feeling pure euphoric bliss !! First time really choosing myself, not just in the present, but my future self too. What a gift! Big love to everyone on this journey 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This time last year I was absolutely freaking out about my decision to have top surgery!! I’d had a reduction 3 years prior and it took me a little longer to realise I wanted to go completely flat. Although I knew deep down it was right for me, there was so much fear, uncertainty and anxiety in the lead up. Now here I am, 9 months post-op, warming my bare chest in the afternoon sun. The euphoria, the sheer relief !! It was all worth it. Trust your gut peeps! Only you know what’s best for you. We get one body, make it your own 💖
