Salary cut

Today I heard at work that starting in octubre, most ABA companies will cut 20% of BCBA and RBT salaries. What do you think about this? This is just something I heard someone saying. I don’t want to spread false information just wondering if anyone heard this too?

4-hour home session

I have a 4-hour home session with my 6 year old non verbal client next Wednesday. I feel like it’s too much. We usually do 4 hours in aftercare which has a lot of more thing to do and more people around. Here it’s just me and the client (mom working in her room) for 4 hours with not much to do. Let’s add I’m a super burned out RBT, work 40 hours a week, and I’m in my final semester of my master degree, so that doesn’t help. I have 2 days off on the following week so I feel bad asking to make session shorter but I’ll really want for this session to be 3 hours instead of 4. Should I ask or with the 2 days off I have it wouldn’t look great.

Hi everyone! This question is for those of you in Florida, specially Miami/Orlando. How is your salary, experience, work life balance? Me and my bf live in Miami but I can’t wait to get out of here. He is a new Civil engineering studying for his FE. He doesn’t want to leave Miami because he says this is where the money in CE is. I’ll love to live in Orlando or somewhere close because I’m done with how expensive and crazy Miami is, but he says you make little money anywhere up north in Florida compared to Miami. If anyone can give me some insight I’ll greatly appreciate it!!!
