Window and door trim

Hi, around my windows and doors is bent aluminum to look like trim. It basically rips right off, and there is nothing under there but wood.

We will be painting it white again in the future, but I would like to replace the window trim with wood we had to do some work on a different window and it just seems like a good opportunity

Was originally just going to put wood that looks just like the aluminum but would be interested in others opinions

The house was built sometime between the 1920s and 1940s. Original windows were ripped out possibly in the 70s for these aluminum windows that I have.

Currently can’t do anything about the asbestos siding or the windows, but would just like to improve what I have

Sorry about the shadows on the house.

Thank you in advance!

S trap

My boyfriend called a friend of his to come and install my three basin sink in my kitchen

This doesn’t look right to me

Also, he put the AAV valve under the house as well as the clean out cap.

I haven’t been under the house to look

I’m going to, but I have a bad back.

Thanks in advance

Stealthy garden

I live in a fairly thievy town and live on a street that a lot of people walk down to get to the cigarette store.

I have made peace with just locking up everything and putting up cameras and still occasionally dealing with whatever.

I haven’t gardened in a while because people will hop a fence and pick you dry.

I have considered a motion sensor water jet but people don’t mind tearing things down that upset them.

I have a different idea.

I’m an adventurous eater and would appreciate recommendations of fruit and vegetables that are not easily recognizable.

I can grow beets because no one looks twice at those. I was thinking currents might look like a poisonous plant if mixed into a flower bed.

If people aren’t familiar with a thing it might be left unnoticed.

Be creative. I’m down for it and itching to plant things.
