Aunt Panee

I was curious to see Aunt Panee with a more suitable haircut.

For information, her real name is Prima Ratchata and she is acting since the late 80s.

Khom Khlang The Series

I know we can’t rely on visual to judge the quality of a project. But, so far between the pilot and some photos it’s seems particularly good.

The series will premiere Sep 7 on WeTV and some non official site…

Janeyeh

Just saw the tweet and share it, Janeyeh is now under TB entertainment. From their X account it’s seems that they just do talent management. They don’t produce series.

Janeyeh have been an independent artist since she left GMMTV.

Khom Khlang, Ditto and Love Echoes

My top 3 GL that could be very great, or a major disappointment.

For some reason, I put huge expectation for those three. Last series that got me excited like that were Cranium (🥹), Player and EwB.

4E: Fire

I just notice it’s Aunt Panee and her awful haircut in the far left on FAI wedding pictures.

I know her arc redemptiom will happened at some point. It’s a ThaiGL after all. But, I wish she wasn’t that visible.

Earth and Fire

Just realized that both Fai and Din have lost their mom in early age.

And both are in love with childhood friends.

Resonance

The New GL from Velcurve with FriendPalm have been officially announced.

They were the side couple from Love Design. From what I read here and there, the main filming location will be in Japan.

A new ThaiGL series about boxing

The series is scheduled to premiere next year.

And interesting to notice that it’s supported by The Department of Cultural Promotion and Ministry of Culture.

Personally, I don’t think the Thai government would put money carelessly in a series. Especially, if it’s to promote their country internationally. So, my expectation is huge.

For information Mulan, was previously paired with Lux. They had one movie together who didn’t work well and is now a lost media.

They were supposed to have their GL last year, or at least filming the pilot. But, after months without any updates the project got canceled and their cp split.

I think we will heard a bit more about the series later on this year or probably early next year.

Underrated

Somewhere Somehow was the last GL produce by IdolFactory.

Among the series we had in 2025, she’s part of a group that I called the underrated gem. They were great in terms of production, acting and stories. But, they didn’t manage to catch people interest.

I’m not great when it comes to convince people to give a chance for a series because, not gonna lie I’m the worse when someone ask me to praise my fav series. And I don’t see the technical issue that some people highlight. Like, I still don’t understand when people talk about pacing, or camera work. So it’s the conversation that I tend to stay far away.

The only thing, I can say about Somewhere Somehow is that it what I’m looking for when I want a cheesy romcom. I want the corny pick up line, I want the yearning, I want the unhinged best friend who root for the couple. And because it’s ThaiGL, if we had to the mix an insufferable parental figure and over the top green flag parental figure it’s even better.

Also my personal list of underrated gem of 2025:
- Somewhere Somehow
- Runaway
- Player
- Like A Palette
- Reverse With Me

TungPang Jessie update

E29.TH the company who managed TungpanJessie that we discovered earlier this year with Heart Code, share pictures of the actresses.

It could be possibly the start of the workshop for their second GL, Love In Bloom. The series is an original script produce by Monomax.

Both actresses are new to ThaiGL but have been acting for a decade now. They may not be the most popular pair, but they’re also busy with other acting project. And Jessie was nominated for a Nataraja Award, wish is like the Emmy for US or Bafta in UK this year.
